Santo Domingo.- The president of the Christian Dialogue and Representation Table, Reverend Nercido Borg, expressed concern due to the alteration of values in Dominican society, which has revealed the direction that the current generation is taking.
For Borg, the absence of values is synonymous with the degeneration of reality that has been manifested in morbidity for a long time in our society.
He stated that within the alteration of values, they are; insensitivity, lack of respect, lack of honesty and lack of justice.

In his opinion, he says that the crisis in values that the current generation has been experiencing is the very expression of a world that has lost its way; and, in our country, it is also the result of a society that has not yet achieved the meeting and reconciliation of its cultural, ethnic, economic and political diversity.
He stressed that one of the most serious causes added to this problem has to do with the corruption scandals in the Dominican State, by the governments that have led the Republic in the last 40 years.
He also criticized the so-called “influencers”, of whom people have a distorted, erroneous, mistaken image, since these characters on digital networks do not influence anything positive.
The senior evangelical leader assured that the absence of values have made delinquency, domestic violence, hate crimes and settling scores, among others, more frequent in our days.
Nercido Borg, referred in those terms, when rendering accounts to the members of the entity, during the celebration of its VII ordinary annual assembly of delegates of the seventy-seven member organizations of this representative entity of the evangelical community in the Dominican Republic.
