The Ukrainian government announced Saturday having regained control of the entire kyiv region after almost a month of Russian occupation, which left an apocalyptic panorama and macabre pictures such as that of 20 corpses scattered on a street in Bucha, a city northwest of the Ukrainian capital.
Russian forcesas announced a few days ago, have reduced their presence in the kyiv and Chernigov regions (north), after having failed in his attempt to surround the capital.
Now they seem to be concentrating their efforts on the east and south, five weeks after the start of the invasion ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24.
