Government Agreements
The strike of heavy cargo carriers began on March 28. They asked for a solution to the increase in fuel prices, the elimination of the selective consumption tax (ISC), among other measures.
This Saturday the Government managed to finalize and sign minutes of dialogue with transport and agriculture leaders after the friction and divided table that was installed in the Wanka Coliseum, in Huancayo, which was attended by 6 state ministers and the local population. With this, it was agreed to suspend the strike for 5 days.
It was reported that the signed minutes were negotiated at different dialogue tables inside the coliseum, where transporters and farmers reached important partial agreements, such as the next unblocking of roads in Junín.
