According to the data published by the Presidential Commission for the Prevention, Attention and Control of covid-19, chaired by Delcy RodriguezUntil the night of Saturday, April 2, the country added 81 new infections.
The infections would be divided as follows: 26 men, 55 women and three of them minors.
These would be new cases of community-transmitted coronavirus, with Carabobo being the most affected entity, with 27% of cases, thus accumulating 22 new infections, followed by Guárico, La Guaira, Zulia, Caracas and Miranda, with 41% of cases. cases.
Only two of the 14 municipalities of the Carabobo state would have registered new infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus; This could mean a drastic decrease in infections in Venezuela, the shortage of tests and reagents or that the population no longer goes to the doctor when presenting symptoms of covid-19.

This is how 1,591 active cases of covid-19 are currently registered, divided as follows:
- 406 patients in hospitals.
- 406 patients in Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers.
- 137 patients in private clinics.
- 642 patients receiving supervised community care.
Likewise, the country has an effectiveness of 99% in recovered patients, with 513,432.
But, nevertheless, the lethality of this virus has not gone unnoticed, and that is that 5,685 people have died after suffering complications associated with this disease. One of the deceased was registered in the last hours, it would be a 59-year-old man residing in the state of Bolívar.
