A total of 206 people apprehended for various crimes is the result of “Operation Genesis 2022”, by the security forces at the national level, in the last 24 hours.
Of these arrests, 123 are by trade, 7 for micro-trafficking, 61 for administrative offenses and 15 for flagrante delicto.
The arrests occurred at different points throughout the country.
A total of 83 raids were carried out, also achieving the seizure of 1,072 drug packages, 8 firearms, 56 ammunition, cash, B/. 12,125.00 and 3 vehicles recovered.
Also, 26 foreigners were detected who did not meet the immigration requirements, who were placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
Likewise, 1,851 tickets were placed for various violations of the Traffic Regulations, of these 584 were for speeding, 45 for proven drunkenness, 19 for talking on a cell phone, 04 for alcoholic breath, 105 for inadequate lights and 8 expired licenses.
