The Undersecretary of the Interior reported that it held an emergency meeting with the Mayor of Contulmo, Carlos Leal, and his team, this Saturday morning, after the acts of violence recorded in the area. Also present at the meeting was the presidential delegate from the Biobío region, Daniela Dresdner.

“We saw the actions that we will take as the government of President Gabriel Boric in the face of the burning of several houses last night in that commune,” said the undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior through social networks.
They assured that the first thing they are considering is the current situation of the victims, to whom they seek to provide “a quick solution to their needs.”
Likewise, they indicated that tomorrow they will hold an extraordinary meeting in La Moneda with the police, where they will continue “reviewing measures.”
