The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Félix Plasencia, held several meetings this Saturday with ambassadors and business managers from Turkey, Russia, Algeria and Italy in Venezuela, with the aim of consolidating bilateral cooperation.
On Twitter, Plasencia explained that he met with the Turkish ambassador, Şevki Mütevellioğlu, “with whom we forged a close relationship of cooperation and joint work, based on fundamental values and principles for the full development of both countries.”
He also indicated that he held a working meeting with Segey Melik Bagdasarov, Russian ambassador to the country, as part of the permanent agenda of exchanges within the strategic alliance.
He also noted that he had a productive meeting with Abdelkader Hadjaz, ambassador of Algeria, to review the roadmap for strategic cooperation in energy, agriculture and air connectivity. “Soon the IV Mixed Commission will be held in Caracas for the benefit of both peoples,” the foreign minister said.
Finally, he had a bilateral meeting with Placido Vigo, Charge d’Affaires of Italy, to review the work agenda “framed in consolidating ties of friendship and resuming strategic alliances between the two countries.”
