“The salary increase established at 7.26% is 1.64 percentage points higher than the 2021 inflation that the Dane stipulated at 5.62%. This salary measure applies to the servants of entities of the national order of the three Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches. In addition, it includes the military forces, the National Police, teachers, autonomous entities, the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation and control bodies: the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic and the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation.
According to the decrees issued by the National Government, public servantss will receive the increase from the payment of the month of April, but retroactively from January 1, 2022.
Regarding the salary adjustment of employees of both municipal and departmental public entities, these are set by the councils and assemblies, but they cannot be higher than the ceilings set by the Government.
