The Ministry of IndustryCommerce and Mipymes (MICM) froze almost all the prices of fuels for the week of Saturday April 02 to Friday 8 of the same month, according to the new resolution of the institution released today.
In this sense, the price of the gallon of gasoline premium will be sold at 293.60 pesos and regular at 274.50 pesos, both maintaining their cost.
Also, the gallon of gasoil Optimum will be shipped at 241.10 pesos and regular diesel at 221.60 pesos, leaving its price unchanged in relation to the week that ends.
Similarly, the price of a gallon of Petroleum liquid gas it will be offered to the public at 147.60 pesos and natural gas will be sold at 28.97 pesos per cubic meter.
To avoid increases in the price of hydrocarbons, the government will allocate this week more than 1,130 million pesos in subsidies, according to the deputy minister of the MICM, Ramón Pérez Fermín.
Instead, the price of avtur will be shipped at 264.40 pesos per gallon, after registering a rise of 14.87 pesos; Kerosene will be at 300.70 per gallon, with an increase of 15.80. Meanwhile, fuel oil #6 will remain at 192.11 pesos per gallon and fuel oil will remain at 211.77 per gallon.
The Vice Minister of Internal Trade, Ramón Pérez Fermin, explained that as of Wednesday, March 30, the international price of WTI averaged 108.85 dollars, for a slight decrease in relation to the average of the previous week.
“If we did not manage what the international market commands, we would have had to see an unprecedented increase, in a single week, we are talking about increases from 21 pesos per gallon in the case of LPG, to almost 85 pesos per gallon of gasoil regularly,” he pointed out.
