President Louis Abinader held a lunch yesterday with members of the National Police, whom he exhorted to carry out their work with passion, patriotism and with the interest of improving the country and citizen service.
“Whoever does not feel passion, whoever does not feel patriotism, whoever does not feel the desire, whoever does not feel that inner fire to improve the country, should not get involved in the National Policeor in the Armed ForcesI’m in public service. You can dedicate yourself to other things”, he expressed, during the meeting, held at the March 2 Academy of Hatillo, San Cristóbal.
Abinader He expressed satisfaction, seeing young officers who will be in the national direction of the Police throughout the territory and said that he is confident that they will have a completely reformed institution, an example of efficiency, transparency and service to the citizen.

He stated that this means increasing the morale of the police officers, their income, their quality of life and supporting them materially, with technology and more equipment so that they can carry out their mission.
The President was accompanied by the Minister of Interior and Police, Jesús Vázquez; the director of the Police, Major General Eduardo Alberto Then, and the director of the (Digesett), Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta.
