Bogotá and Montería were the settings for the ceremonies of Graduation of the Diploma in Commercial Strengthening of the Rural Development Agency -ADR- and the University of Pamplona.
A group of 241 producers from the center of the country and the Caribbean coast received their degree and benefits for their organizations, as part of the Specialized Consulting program led by the Agency in 2021 and that it had an investment of more than $2,400 million.

This strategy, which benefited 188 associations and impacted more than 9,000 producers in 115 municipalities and 18 departments, included a diagnosis, characterization and assessment of the organizations, a strengthening plan, a diploma course on production costs, digital literacy, agricultural marketing, achievement of commercial allies for associations with consolidated production processes, and some other benefits for each associative group, according to the needs and desires expressed throughout the process.
Ana Cristina Moreno Palacios, president of the ADR, stated: “We are happy because we know that this made sense. You were able to demonstrate a program that became a reality with public resources. As a country we have to continue building together, here there is an institutional framework that accompanies them. It will always be easier to talk about what we lack, but it is necessary to recognize the achievements that transform lives. This is one of them”.

For his part, the president Ivan Duke He recalled that “this strategy is articulated with our Contract Farming program, which to date has more than 250,000 rural producers linked to more than a thousand commercial allies.
