Dom. Rep. – The national executive director of the External Sector of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Aneury Batista assured that the engineer Michael Vargas Maldonado would be a luxury president for 2024.
Batista said that although the president of the party has not yet decided whether he will be a presidential candidate, he is in the moral commitment to do so because of the country’s need for someone with state experience to take the reins.
“Engineer Miguel Vargas has a historical commitment at this juncture, first with the country and second with the party and with those of us who follow him, the Dominican Republic is going through moments of great turbulence and needs someone like him from August 2024”, expressed the politician and lawyer.
He also stated that Vargas Maldonado has the ideal platform to support a potential presidential candidacy, “the Dominican Revolutionary Party has been preparing for this, the different organizations have been superlatively strengthened, the youth, the women, the Mass Fronts, also the provincial and municipal committees and above all, the powerful External Sector that we are forming throughout the national territory,” concluded Batista.
