Ortiz Bosch highlights David Collado's management in Tourism

As efficient, modern and transparent defined Milagros Ortiz Bosch, head of Ethics and Government Integrity (Digeig), the administration of the Minister of tourism, David Collado.

The official expressed herself in those terms within the framework of a meeting of the University Network for the Advancement of Dominican Education (RUNED), in which both entities and the rectors of universities in the country participated.

“What he (Collado) has exhibited is exceptional, it is a great management, but he is part of a group of inspired young people and some older people, like me, who think together with the president that there is a beautiful moment for the Dominican Republic and that we must all move on,” said the official.

She added when asked by hosts of the National Awakening space, that Collado has exhibited “that desire to get all together to change the destiny of the Dominican Republic, to move away from all the improper management of public funds to do the right thing.”

Within the framework of the act, Ortiz Bosch highlighted the initiative launched by the Minister of tourism to open the doors of that institution to young people from the universities so that they learn about, get involved in, and supervise the processes of public management focused on transparency, and to integrate the rectors of these high-ranking houses of study, as overseers of the purchasing processes and hiring of Mitur.

The representatives of the universities highlighted that they participated in the last 14 bidding processes carried out by tourismwith those who showed their satisfaction.

“Without fear of being wrong, I tell you that, thanks to this oversight alliance with the universities and the private sector, in the Ministry of tourism we have turned the word transparency into a reality”, said Collado.

Leading newspaper in the Dominican Republic focused on general news and innovative journalism.
