The primary objective of the plan is for the country to emit a maximum of 169.44 million tons of carbon dioxide in 2030, and thus reach carbon neutrality by 2050.

Duque’s project includes 9 actions, These include sustainable resource management and the protection of biodiversity, sustainable production and consumption, and sustainable mobility and infrastructure.
