The legislator of the Alliance for Progress, Roberto Chiabra, considered that President Pedro Castillo made “his biggest mistake” when he attacked the Armed Forces. His statements came after the ex-commander general of the Army, José Vizcarra, denounced that he received pressure for certain promotions at your institution.

In dialogue with RPP, he described these government pressures as “arbitrary and abusive.” Along these lines, he requested the departure of the Minister of Defense, Walter Ayala.

Vizcarra also claimed that the reasons for their separation were not explained to him.
