The mayor of Piura, Juan José Díaz Dios, explained that this Thursday, March 31, the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, will arrive in Piura to announce the approval of the technical file for the water and sewage project that involves 96 settlements of the Province. The meeting between authorities will be at the Los Algarrobos Coliseum.
According to the mayor’s authority, the head of state will also deliver technical files to complete projects in Upis Lae and Túpac Amaru, as well as files ready for Upis Los Angeles, Víctor Raúl, among others.
The mayor reported that he will insist with the president on the declaration of an emergency in Piura, due to the constant assaults recorded in recent weeks. He will ask that the Armed Forces come out to fight crime. “I hope the assistance of all the authorities and neighborhood leaders to together ensure that Piura has the attention we deserve,” he said.
