Russia denounces to the UN violations of the Ukrainian Army with the support of the West

The Russian delegation to the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Commission denounced the atrocities carried out by Ukraine against civilians using weapons offered by Western powers.

In the framework of the 49th session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC), the representative of Moscow, Yaroslav Eremin, cited numerous examples of massive human rights violations carried out by Ukraine with weapons from the United States (USA). .) and some nations of the European Union (EU).

The official placed special emphasis on the bombing of Mariupol carried out by the nationalist Azov and Right Sector battalions when refugees tried to leave for Russia, “the firing points were located in civilian houses that were evicted to the street or destroyed” , he detailed.

The Russian delegation recalled that last March 13, in the city of Nikolskoe, during the withdrawal of the Aidar battalion, at least 300 civilians were taken hostage and 294 people were left underground, at the same time, they mentioned about a video illustrating Ukrainian military shooting at unarmed Russian soldiers in the city of Kharkov.

For its part, Russia continues in constant exchange with the UN and its entities related to the situation of refugees to manage humanitarian corridors and the sending of humanitarian aid.

The Russian commission called on the United Nations High Commissioner and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to take into account these facts that flagrantly violate the provisions for cases of conflict.

For her part, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, in the report offered this Wednesday, spoke of the details received by her office on the arrest of nearly 350 people by the Ukrainian law enforcement forces. .

Likewise, the international entity knows and manages data on how the Ukrainian army murdered two civilians claiming to be associated with Russian forces, as, in the same way, Bachelet was concerned about the publication of images of the interrogations of prisoners of war.

According to the United Nations, in the last five weeks about 1,189 civilians have died and at least 1,901 have been injured in Ukraine, as well as damage to 77 medical facilities (including 50 hospitals).
