The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested six subjects investigated for collaborating with Tancol groups, that is, Armed Terrorists, Colombian Drug Traffickers, according to military sources. Three of the arrests occurred in the La Piña sector, Independencia municipality (Soledad), Anzoátegui.
According to information collected by the GNB, an irregular group was found in the aforementioned place carrying long and short weapons.
The members of that group were dedicated to transporting drug shipments from Colombia. For this they used the Orinoco River that crosses the Anzoatiguense population of Soledad, bordering Bolívar. The three detainees are: Eduardo José Salazar, Eduardo Rafael Salazar and Henry De Jesús Pollak Barrero. At the time of being captured, three trucks were seized: Ford, Triton model.
The three subjects collaborated to supply fuel, food and in turn were caretakers of the materials used by the Tancol group that operates in the Orinoco river pipes in that sector.
The detainees will be prosecuted for the crimes of financing terrorism.

Three other subjects will also be prosecuted for their alleged incursion in financing terrorism by collaborating in criminal activities committed by the El Oso gang, which operates in Zulia, according to military sources. In this case, the detainees are identified as Jonathan Wuolther Oquendo Barriga (Jhonata), Enrique Segundo Navas Reverol (Yeco) and Yosmery Beatriz Rincón.
This trio was captured by the GNB in the Punta de Palma sector, Miranda municipality (Los Puertos de Altagracia), Zulia. They seized 20 7.62×39mm caliber cartridges destined for rifles and two portable radios.
These subjects were in charge of logistics, transportation of ammunition, firearms and collection of extortion from the victims of El Oso.
