Marches and clashes with Carabineros have been registered in different parts of the country, as part of the commemoration of the Young Combatant Day.
It should be noted that every March 29 this date is commemorated for the assassination of the brothers Rafael and Eduardo Vergara Toledo at the hands of Carabineros (1985) during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. On the same date, Paulina Aguirre was executed and teachers Manuel Guerrero Ceballos and José Manuel Parada Maluenda were kidnapped -Santiago Nattino was kidnapped the day before- victims of the Degollados case.
