Patricia Chirinoscongresswoman for Avanza País and third vice president of Congress, sent official letters to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and to the Comptroller General of the Republic to request information on the hiring of a relative of the president, Pedro Castillo.
“I am asking the MTC for a report on the technical criteria used to hire, for 18 thousand soles in just one month, Pedro Castillo’s niece, Fany Oblitas Paredes. What is the specialty of the lucky niece and the necessity of hiring her?”, he wrote on social networks this Tuesday.
In the documents shared by the legislator, the Minister of Transport and Communications, Nicolás Bustamante, is asked to send information due to concern about the information disseminated in the media about Fany Yakeli Oblitas Paredes.
As reported by Panorama, she is a relative of the wife of President Pedro Castillo and would have obtained two service orders, one for 6 thousand soles in January and another for 12 thousand in February. The latter, according to Oblitas, rejected it due to a “media issue”.
“It would be a close relative of the wife of the President of the Republic who would have obtained two service orders for a total of S / 18 thousand during the month of February of this year”warns the trade.
Patricia Chirinos also highlights that according to the report, Oblitas Paredes does not have experience for the services for which she was hired: “preparation of pre-settlements and allocation of payments made by companies” and “specialized management of information for the Supervision and Management sub-management of Vehicles” of the Sutran.
In the letter to Nelson Shack, comptroller general of the Republic, he asks the entity to verify the technical criteria that were taken into account for the aforementioned contracts.
