“Tesofe receives the reimbursements from the beneficiaries and reports to us month after month how many payments it received, from which person and for what amount. With this, we integrate our information on the reimbursements that were received in this way”, explained the head of the Prospective, Planning and Evaluation Unit.
In the case of family microenterprises, the procedure was different: the beneficiaries were asked to leave the amount of 823 pesos every month so that, with direct debits, Banco del Bienestar, Banorte, Banco Azteca and Santander could collect the money. (bank sweeps).
Once the bank sweeps have been made, the money goes to the concentration account that the SE has in these banks to make the “whole” to the Tesofe.
“It is not a reimbursement because that resource is classified as exploitation -it is a technical issue-. We tell Tesofe ‘I received this amount from these beneficiaries’. We make the reimbursements with the computer key that the government accounting gave me,” said the official.
“(To make the reimbursement) we ask Tesofe for a capture line. In that capture line we have to previously identify -in a database- beneficiary by beneficiary and amount by amount what is the subsidy payment procedure to which each corresponds. beneficiary; we have to identify which is the certified unsettled account from which the support came for each beneficiary to subtract the amount of the reimbursements from that original amount, “explained the official.
Regarding the payment compliance of the people who obtained a loan of 25,000 pesos, Alejandro Rosas pointed out that, to date, they expected to have a 30% repayment, but the percentage is around 20%.
“We have applied various strategies to get closer to the beneficiaries, make them aware and to facilitate the form, the procedure so that they can reimburse. We hope to have better results with them. We still have time to recover and get as close as possible to the finish line (30%)”, says Rosas.
“The amount raised is just over 2,500 million pesos. We still have a horizon of three years ahead, because we are already including people who received support in 20212, she said.
