With harangues such as “Because of Maciste, the children without a garden!”, parents of the Educational Institution of Initial No. 170, located in the town of Pueblo Libre, arrived at the gates of the Regional Government of Huancavelica in order to demand that they hand over their new infrastructure.

Soledad Quispe, mother of a three-year-old class, stated that they have been in this situation for three years and have their children studying in classrooms that are totally inappropriate for minors.
“We have already delivered them on such a date, we have already delivered them on which date, the children are in less than optimal places, they do not have adequate bathrooms, three-year-old children must have a lot of care, they are exposed to the street, they do not have a patio, no recess, no games,” said Soledad Quispe.

Similar is the point of view of Ruth Pumacahua, a five-year-old classroom teacher, who indicates that the classrooms in which the little ones have been studying are borrowed.
“The classrooms are totally inadequate, we are using school classrooms, unsuitable for four and five year olds, apart from that, we are prone to accidents because the steps and bathrooms are too high for the children, we try to stay behind them. We are calling on the authorities to hand over the classrooms to us,” said the teacher.
He said that the educational facilities built by the Regional Government of Huancavelica are already completed and they do not know why they are not delivered on time.
“They are walking us with the delivery of the infrastructure, this comes from 2018 – 2019, it is practically four years that we wait. Last year the regional manager came to give us the classrooms,” said the teacher.
Likewise, he explained that in order for them to conclude with the execution of the project, it is necessary that they acquire the furniture and equipment for the garden, which, according to what they have been told from the Regional Government of Huancavelica, they have problems because the money “is no longer enough for them.” .
“The place is finished, the only thing missing is the implementation such as the furniture, and that 5% is missing to make the total delivery, we made a document so that they commit to deliver, December arrived and they did not do it, now they are going to make a new schedule.
He added: “They argue that it has gone up, that they have made the contract with other entities, that the material went up, that there is no budget, that it is not enough, the resident resigned, says that he is tired, that they do not pay him, that the budget they had is not given”.
In total there are 50 children who study in the aforementioned educational institution of Pueblo Libre, in Huancavelica.
