Caixa promoted a virtual event this Monday (28) to publicize the Caixa Tem SIM Digital credit modality, available today. This type of financing is aimed at entrepreneurs, including the individual microentrepreneur (MEI) category.
Entrepreneurs include individuals who develop some type of productive activity or provide some service. The amounts range from R$300 to R$1,000, with a term of up to two years and interest of 1.95% per month.
The request must be made through the Caixa Tem application. The option is Caixa Tem Credit. It is necessary to perform the registration update in the app. The bank’s team has up to 10 days to evaluate the request.
The interested person has to inform what will be the purpose of the loan. It is possible to do a simulation of the financing to know how much the installments will cost. The money will be credited to the Caixa Tem account. All banks can carry out the operation.
MEIs, on the other hand, are individuals who offer services with annual remuneration of up to R$ 81 thousand. The amounts requested can be from R$1,500 to R$3,000. The term is also two years and interest is 1.99% per month. In this case, the order has to be made at an agency.
The president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, reported that in a few months this option may be available in the application, but that for now the procedure still requires going to an agency.
In both cases, people who are “negative” will be able to access credit. The term is used to designate citizens and entrepreneurs in debt, a condition that often makes borrowing difficult.
Payroll Loans and Brazil Aid
People who receive Auxílio Brasil will also be able to take out loans with the benefit as a guarantee. However, this alternative still requires a detailing of the rules by the Ministry of Citizenship.
“For beneficiaries of Auxílio Brasil, there is no credit analysis and all banks can operate. The discount limit is 40% of the benefit. But it still depends on the regulation of the Ministry of Citizenship, which means giving time limits, interest and the very qualification of financial institutions”, said Caixa president Pedro Guimarães.
