How could the vote for the presidential vacancy be?
Pedro Castillo withdraws from Congress and leaves his lawyer to exercise his defense
President Pedro Castillo finished his speech in Congress and was fired to applause from the ruling party. Similarly, at the end of his presentation, he had a handshake with parliamentarian Patricia Chirinos, promoter of the first vacancy motion against the head of state.
The president left his lawyer to continue with his defense, to then proceed with the debate on the initiative promoted by a sector of the opposition and finally the vote for this process.
In one part of his presentation, the head of state considered that the presidential vacancy motion against him has no basis to be valid and that it is a “compilation of versions of a sector of the press.”
