The Foreign Minister, santiago cafierolaunched this Sunday a message of Unit into the interior of front of all stating that he has “the same idea of a country” as Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, Maximo Kirchner and the grouping The Camporaalthough he acknowledged that he would have “liked the entire pro-government bloc” to have accompanied the vote in Congress on the bill in agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“The idea of a country that Cristina (Fernández de Kirchner), Máximo (Kirchner) and La Cámpora have, is the same as I have. I may have nuances but it is the same idea of country that we all defend,” the foreign minister said about the government coalition he is part of, in statements to Radio 10.
Along the same lines, he acknowledged that he “would have liked” that “the entire FdT block” accompany the vote of the project according to the IMF since it allowed the country to “solve a foreign debt problem”, and at the same time, “generate predictability” by “increasing reserves” and “stabilizing the economy”.
“We have a political tradition of more than 70 years where we defend a doctrine, that of Social Justice, that of Evita (Perón). That is in the DNA of all of us who are in the Front of All”, she argued.
In this sense, he considered that “the nuances” of the coalition of which he is a part can be discussed “internally or externally” but, without “losing sight” that “it is not the same as (former president Mauricio) Macri returning next year coming”.

He also assured that “Macri would have agreed with the Fund in five minutes” because “I would have given everything”and said: “We take longer because we negotiate.”
“What matters is having achieved a program without structural reforms,” he reflected, and recognized “the credit” that was given by “the economics team” and “President Alberto Fernández” to achieve it.
Asked about the war between Russia and Ukraine, he pointed out that “Argentina has always raised its repudiation” and that the country “has not moved an inch” from the “diplomatic tradition” that is characterized by the search for “the peaceful resolution of conflicts.”
And he clarified that the country condemns “unilateral blockade measures” in the same way, such as the one carried out by the United States on Cubra since 1962.
