With slogans such as “Yes to the ratification of the mandate”, “Let democracy continue” and “#QueFollow AMLO”, the demonstration began in the Margarita Maza de Juárez park and concluded in the Plaza Cívica ‘First Congress of Anáhuac’, in the zócalo of Chilpancingo.
Félix Salgado, a licensed senator, took the floor to accuse the National Electoral Institute of reducing the number of polling places, for which –he affirmed– 70% of citizens will not be able to vote.
“In a tricky way we have detected that the INE established that large communities will have to go to vote in small towns, so that they do not go, because the INE, which does not want Andrés Manuel, is afraid,” he assured during the event.
Félix Salgado was going to be the candidate for governor of Guerrero for Morena, however, prior to the electoral process, he was accused of sexual abuse by a woman who worked for the politician; Despite the scandal, what ended his candidacy was a resolution by the INE for not declaring pre-campaign expenses.
