They apprehend in La Quiaca a subject who had in his possession a teenager reported missing

This Sunday afternoon, at a press conference, the director of the Oruro Special Force to Fight Crime, Colonel Yerco Rejas, reported on the arrest of Gabriel Alejandro Puente Gutiérrez, in Quiaca, an Argentine city on the border with Bolivia, where he was found in the company of LMMR, the 16-year-old girl reported missing since March 19.

“In a coordinated effort between the Argentine Police, the Argentine Gendarmerie and Migrations of Bolivia we managed to find the whereabouts of Gabriel Puente and the minor”, Colonel Rejas said.

LMMR was handed over in the first instance to a family member and was later transferred to a police module where she underwent a psychological evaluation.

Rejas said that the corresponding investigations will determine the crime committed by Puente.

The Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Sexual Violence, Trafficking in Persons and Juvenile Criminal Justice of Oruro, had issued this Saturday the arrest warrant and international red notice against Gabriel Alejandro Puente Gutiérrez, accused of the crime of Trafficking in Persons, fearing that I would have left the country.

He is of legal age and had a romantic relationship with the missing teenager, who had left his home, to meet him, at around 11:00 p.m. on March 18.
