Regarding the media, Europe for Cuba announced the accompaniment of the Prensa Latina, SANA and Sputnik news agencies, the Telesur, HispanTV, Al Mayadeen and Cubavisión Internacional networks and ANTV, the channel of the National Assembly of Venezuela.
The radio stations Radio del Sur, Radio Patagonia, Radio Rebelde and Radio Habana Cuba, the publication Latin American Summary and many other traditional and alternative media also assured their contribution to the media marathon against the blockade against Cuba.
Toledo and Pérez also reported the participation of youtubers, the World Federation of Trade Unions and the Latin American Network of Solidarity with Cuba, parliamentarians, artists and intellectuals.
Cuba is facing a strict and cruel war that has been going on for more than 60 years, denounced Toledo, who recalled that there will be 24 hours of uninterrupted transmissions from April 2 to 3.
For his part, Pérez repudiated that the US blockade denies the island the right to cure its children, which, he warned, cannot be qualified other than genocide.
“24 hours are not enough to give examples of what this policy imposed on Cuba is,” he added.
