The place is adorned with confetti on the ceiling and promotional tarps for the craft show that seeks to minimize the rustic finishes of the gray work, planks were installed there to be occupied by the exhibitors.

Graciela, a resident of Nopala de Villagrán, explained that one of the conditions to exhibit their products within the AIFA is that their prices are the same as those offered in markets and fairs, so there will be no increase because it is an air terminal.

“We have embroidered tablecloths for 1,500, in black fabric for 2,500, other products from 50 to 500 pesos, we have for all budgets, but it is a job done by hand, they are fixed prices because imagine, it is a lot of work to make all these products, We have not thought about increasing prices, they are normal prices”, he explained.

In the craft show there is also space for small companies such as Cocoles El Coruco, originally from Tizayuca, Hidalgo, which has been in the market for 70 years. Eréndira Mendoza, representative of the exhibition, highlighted that this space inside the Felipe Ángeles airport is an opportunity for more people to get to know them.

“We are a traditional company, without visiting Tizayuca, the traditional thing is cocoles made with piloncillo and a touch of anise, the bag is 10 pieces is 50 (pesos), the shortbread is 35 pesos with 10 pieces, here we also accept payments with (credit and debit) card,” he said.

But this is not the only space for the sale of artisan products, there is also another one on the ground floor, in the passenger registration area where residents of the State of Mexico also exhibit artisan products.

I think it is a good place to sell, but it is only for eight days, we hope there will be an opportunity to generate more income.”
