“President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is giving a subsidy to gasoline and diesel, what does that mean? That he took away the part of the tax that the gas stations were paying so that the price of fuel is maintained to support the popular economy, ”said the president before dozens of inhabitants of the Venustiano Carranza mayor’s office.
Sheinbaum also highlighted the start of operations of Gas Bienestar in the capital and the cap on the price of this energy source, as well as pensions for the elderly and scholarships from the Youth Building the Future program, and although he did not say so explicitly, on different occasions he promoted the benefits of these programs being maintained.
