The super record that Uruguayan corn approaches in the middle of the Ukraine war

Hand in hand with a very favorable summer in terms of climate, Uruguayan corn is heading for a record harvest that may lead to a return of the country to the export market, also helped by the gap that the absence of Ukraine is leaving in the international market – with its placements blocked after Russia’s invasion of part of its territory – and the low regional availability of the grain. That return of Uruguay to exports of corn grains is even possible for the first time in several years.
