In an extraordinary session, the Complaints and Denunciations Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE) declared inadmissible a request for precautionary measures by the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) against the association Follow Democracy, for spreading a publication on social networks with which it is supposedly intended to coerce and/or condition the vote of the beneficiaries of social programs of the federal government.
It considered that the expressions mentioned in the broadcast video, such as With the program of our President, Sembrado Vida, the peasants receive support to work the fields
there was no threat to voters that, if they do not choose the option that the current chief executive continue in office until the end of the period for which he was elected, the social programs related to support for the countryside will be eliminated.
In this sense, in the same way, the counselors Adriana Favela and Claudia Zavala, as well as the counselor Ciro Murayama, resolved the inadmissibility of the precautionary measure with respect to ordering President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Welfare Secretariat and Let Democracy Follow, refrain from carrying out behaviors such as the one denounced, since there is no indication that the chief executive or the federal agency had any type of participation in the preparation, editing or dissemination of said video.
On the other hand, the commission also ruled inadmissible the precautionary measures requested by Morena against the PRD, derived from the broadcast on radio and television of the Energy spot, in which an alleged slander against the complainant political party is denounced, the appearance of public servants in order to generate antipathy towards the party and the improper use of the guideline.
