Emilio Zebadúa González, senior officer of the Secretaries of Social Development (Sedesol) and of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu) during the government of Enrique Peña Nieto, as well as his brothers José Ramón and Lourdes, are being investigated by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) for illicit enrichment.

However, there are three complaints filed against him by the Superior Audit Office of the Federation and the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Ministry of Finance after having detected that the income reported in his asset declarations does not correspond to the resources registered in various banking operations and in the acquisition of real estate during his management, from 2012 to 2018.
