Uruguay registered this Saturday 193 new cases of coronavirus on a total of 9,618 tests, reported the National Emergency System (Sinae). The positivity rate was 2%, although duplicate tests are also included in some people.

There are 2,341 active cases across the country and 24 people are in intensive care centers, according to the official report. Of the total of positive cases, 107 correspond to health personnel.
Except for Río Negro, all departments report infected people. Montevideo leads the list of assets with 1,047, followed by Canelones (422), Maldonado (190) and Tacuarembó (133), among others.
Of the 193 new cases, 91 were from Montevideo, 28 from Maldonado, 26 from Canelones, 14 from Colonia, 10 from Tacuarembó, six from Treinta y Tres, five from Cerro Largo, three from Florida, three from Paysandú, three from San José , two from Durazno, one from Rocha and one from Soriano.
