The INE advances two days the entry into functions of the Locate your Box system

The National Electoral Institute (INE) brought forward to March 26 the entry into operation of the Locate your Box information system for the mandate revocation consultation, which was originally scheduled for March 28.

Starting next Saturday, citizens will be able to consult in said system (through the INE page) the definitive location of the 57,516 polling stations that will be operating on the voting day of April 10, informed the president adviser, Lorenzo Córdova. With this, he asserted, any Mexican who wishes to exercise his vote will have the opportunity – more than two weeks in advance – to locate his receiving table and make the corresponding provisions.

In an ordinary session of the Executive General Board of the INE, he communicated that the foregoing is the best proof that it is absolutely bogus that the institute hides the location of the boxes. It should be remembered that on March 16, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador accused said electoral body of hiding this information.
