This is a project carried out with the support of UN Women and the Office of Population, Refugees and Migration of the United States Department of State.
The three short films are the result of workshops of films made by Community Cinema Nomad teamwhere more than 40 students participated.

The call was for women from 20 to 40 years old, in a situation of human mobility, and host community, residing in Tulcán, Ibarra, and Esmeraldas.
With a wide variety of women registered, the workshops both virtual and face-to-face in each city. The production of the shorts was done through a tour of Ibarra, El Juncal, Tulcan and Esmeraldas, shooting for two days in each place along the northern corridor of Ecuador. The script was built collectively with the students, through a participatory, inclusive, and horizontal methodology.
«This project aims to use the art of cinema as a tool for social transformation, which invites collective reflection at a local and global level about the migratory reality that is experienced worldwide.
