During this afternoon, the Minister of Labor, Jeannette Jaraheld a meeting with the leaders of the Confederation of Production and Commerce (CPC) to analyze the projects that the Government will present in the labor sphere, such as reducing the working day to 40 hours and the pension reform.
The head of Labor maintained that “it was a very productive meeting, I think there is a spirit of dialogue and joint construction, an important country view in order to resolve with the conviction that changes must be made gradually in their implementation and with a responsibility”.

Meanwhile, the president of the CPC, Subtle Johnstated that there was a good work meeting, in which he believes that “it opens very important paths on how to reach great agreements, on how to find ways to reach a common good.”
“Chile has a unique opportunity to seek its paths towards development and that development undoubtedly requires changes, requires changes that are done well, that are done gradually, with the social stability that is required and above all, generating confidence so that the country continues its development, continues generating investments and can generate more and better quality jobs,” he added.
Finally, the union leader pointed out that “it is very important to understand that this has to have a framework in some way to generate governance to carry that out. It goes beyond specific decisions. Therefore, all the representatives of the different areas are present here of production and trade to advance what the minister has stated”.
