The family residing in stratum 3 demands a response from the company that supplies the service.
Santander News.
When Ademar Miranda, a resident of the Inscredial neighborhood in the municipality of Barrancabermeja, opened his mailbox to pick up his February energy bill, he was in for a bitter surprise.
The bill read an astronomical figure that set off alarms in his home, figuratively: 276 million pesos.
The strange thing for the Miranda family is that in addition to being a stratum 3 residence, it has solar panels installed precisely to take advantage of solar energy and thus reduce the electricity bill.
“How three people who live in this residence are going to consume all that money in electricity,” the citizen complained on social networks.
According to what he said, he filed a right of petition to the Electrificadora de Santander (ESSA) so that they explain the reason for this value, however, he has not yet received an appropriate response.
“We have two types of energy, solar panels and that of the electricity company, we made a right to request and we are waiting,” Miranda said, showing the meter that she has in her home.
The deadline to pay this exorbitant amount for a home is until March 23, that is, this Wednesday.
“We are going to see how it ends and how it is resolved,” said the citizen, annoyed by this unjustified charge in his opinion.
Below is the story of Ademar Miranda:
So far the company ESSA Bucaramanga has not issued any statement in this regard.
On the other hand, it should be remembered that in the midst of a pandemic, accordion player Rolando Ochoa complained that a fine had arrived at his house for alleged fraud in the energy service supplied by the Afinia company.
The accordion maker pointed out in a video that the decrease in the value of his receipt was due to the installation of solar panels.
