Four members of a group dedicated to extortion were detained by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in the Los Indios sector, Francisco de Miranda municipality (Calabozo), Guárico, according to military reports.
Those captured were recorded as: Arnaldo José Orasma Lara (Arnaldito), Jesús Enrique Rodríguez Bolívar (El Farmaceuta), Daniela Alexandra Toledo Ortega (Alexa) and María Marbella Ortega Zamora (Bella), members of the criminal group El Chino JT.
The subjects are allegedly involved in multiple extortions against merchants and agro-producers. The Public Ministry will charge them with the crime of extortion, among others.
