Both initiatives of the Executive Branch, considered serious and urgent, first entered the Senate and then passed to the House of Representatives. The two proposals were approved by each parliamentary branch, so they were sent to the Government for subsequent promulgation.
In the first instance, the extension of the “Job Opportunity” program created by Law No. 19,952 dated May 20, 2021 was unanimously approved.
The program had a duration of six months and would take place from June to November 2021. Subsequently, it was considered appropriate and necessary to extend it until March 2022, approving said extension (by Law No. 19,997) on November 18, 2021.
While in the recent project, which has already been sanctioned in both chambers, said program was extended until May 2022.
The extension will imply that the beneficiaries of the program for the first ten days following the execution of their work in each month, will receive a maximum nominal monthly remuneration equivalent to 6,250 pesos.

Subsequently, the draft law was also unanimously approved by which a 10% Value Added Tax (VAT) is exempted from a certain cut of beef roast intended for consumption, which will be duly individualized, for a period of 30 days, empowering the Executive Power to extend the term for a single time.
