Ed Sheeran will debut in reggaeton with J Balvin and will sing in Spanish

the singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has collaborated with J Balvin on two songs that will arrive very soon on streaming platforms and whose titles are also known: Follow and Forever My Love.

Although he does not usually pronounce before he should on the details of his new creations, on this occasion the red-haired artist spoke on Twitter to reveal some funny anecdotes of his relationship with the reggaeton singer, with whom he has enjoyed great complicity in the recording studio.

“I ran into J Balvin in a gym in New York last year. I quickly recognized his voice while he was on the phone, so I went to say hi. We ended up talking so much that we went to eat and have tea afterwards. We have become very good friends and we don’t stop talking,” revealed the Briton about the origin of his friendship with the Colombian.

the artistic couple ended up recording several songs during their time together in the big apple, although at the moment only the two mentioned singles are known and the fact that Balvin and Sheeran have been able to record a video clip for one of them. For the English artist “it was quite a challenge to learn” to correctly pronounce some of the words in Spanish that he will launch in both songs.

“He wanted to introduce me to his world and I to him in mine. It was quite a challenge to learn Spanish for this,” confessed Ed Sheeran in his chat with Internet users.
