Regarding the organization, Cuadrado pointed out that the commission is in line with a redesign of decision-making that the President’s mandate seeks, Gabriel Boric. “With it, we seek a new management model that cares for the population and integrates communities, territories, experts, and experts in a dialogic manner, based on decision-making based on the best available evidence,” he explained.

Commission Members

- Janeette Dabanch: Infectologist and academic at the Hospital Clínico de la U. de Chile, member of the Minsal Vaccine Advisory Council.
- Mercedes Lopez: Immunologist, professor and researcher at the U. de Chile, director of the immunology program at the U. de Chile and researcher at the Millennium Institute of Immunology and Immunotherapy.
- Ana Maria Moraga: Epidemiologist, member of the National Cancer Commission.
- Maritza Labrana: An expert journalist in risk communication, she is currently the head of communications at the San Juan de Dios Hospital.
