The Chavista leader and considered number 2 of the ruling party, Diosdado Cabellopronounced on the electoral panorama of Colombia, rejecting the denunciations made by former president Álvaro Uribe in which he assures that there was Venezuelan influence in a alleged electoral fraud.
“Let Uribe come out saying that the government that put the registrar, who put it, that they monitor it, that they make copies of it and say that they frauded him from Venezuela, for God’s sake,” said Cabello.
The Chavista leader also highlighted that they do not have any kind of support for the candidates for the presidency, this referring to links with the left and center-left of the country. “Petro is not our candidate, Petro has declared himself an enemy of Chavismo, that is, us fraud, for what?, why?”, expressed Diosdado.
In the midst of his comments on Colombia, Cabello made reference to the ‘military operation’ carried out by Russia in Ukraine to ‘denazify’ the country and added that “someone said why they don’t take the opportunity to ‘decocainize’ Colombia, let’s see what remains”.
