President Luis Arce and Vice President David Choquehuanca made a call this Tuesday to that unity within social organizations be maintained at all costs and the Movement for Socialism (MAS), during the inauguration of the Jacha Tantachawi (great meeting) of the National Council of Ayllus and Markas of Qullasuyu (Conamaq), in the municipality of Bolívar (Cochabamba).
The second national authority attributed the division attempts to social networks that exist. He suggested honesty to those who enter the public service and demanded to stop fighting to strengthen the “political instrument.”
“They want to divide us through social networks, if we are going to pay attention to social networks, we are lost, be very careful, siblings. They want to divide us, some from the left, others from the right, they want to divide us, we are in the process of decolonization, we are strong,” said the vice president.
Along the same lines, the president emphasized that “it cannot be that individual interests are above the interests of the communityof the interests of the majority”, for which he demanded that no effort be spared to maintain harmony in social organizations.
The Conamaq meeting:
“We must take care of the unity of our social organizations, we must do everything to maintain unity, because unity is the guarantee of our plurinational democracy (…). You are our strength, the living blood of our Government and That is why internal and external interests have tried and will continue to try to fracture us.divide us, make us fight between brothers”, he stressed.
Choquehuanca indicated that it is necessary to unite the indigenous people from the east, the valleys and the west, because “the day we get together no one is going to stop us, that day there will be respect for our peoples”. He remarked that “we are not here to fight, we are not here to divide, we are here to strengthen.”
