The BECAL Program reported that more than 170 available scholarships are enabled in the Instrument Application System (SPI).
Within the Self-managed Modality there are 110 places available and the application period closes on Sunday, May 8, 202. While within the Assisted Modality there are 62 places, which also expire on May 8 and April 30, 2022 in the case of the Master’s and Doctorate in Canada.

It is recalled that a fundamental initial step is to read the GBC to understand the requirements and comply with all the steps, to compete for one of the 172 scholarships available this semester in the various programs offered by BECAL to study at the best universities in the world and also in the country, in the case of languages.
Applications are made completely electronically, through the Conacyt SPI https://spi.conacyt.gov.py/user.
It is worth mentioning that among the types of scholarships offered by BECAL are Postgraduate scholarships that include Master’s, Doctorate and Postdoctoral degrees abroad; as well as the International Student Exchange at the Degree Level abroad. Likewise, there are scholarships for German, French, English and Portuguese Language Courses in Paraguay.
BECAL is aimed at strengthening the country’s advanced human capital, especially through postgraduate courses focused on master’s degrees, doctorates, and postdoctoral degrees at the best universities in the world. The Degree and Language Mobility scholarships are complementary for the preparation of young people with a view to postgraduate studies.
