The bench of Alliance for Progress (APP) spoke about the crisis in Petroperuafter the last Sunday March 20 Hugo Chavez Arevalo resigned from the position of general manager. The congressional group demanded a change of directors and a statement by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Carlos Palacios.
“The APP bench expresses its concern about the crisis in Petroperú, about credit risk rating at ‘garbage’ and placed under special review, about inept management and acts of corruption. The day before, Chávez Arévalo presented his irrevocable resignation to the position of general manager and as a member of the board of directors of the state company Petroperu.
