Provinces, municipalities and organizations will carry out activities for the Memory Week

There will be activities in various parts of the country during the week.

Provincial governments, municipalities and human rights organizations announced this Monday a series of activities that will be carried out within the framework of the memory weekthree days after the mobilization called for the March 24th in Plaza de Mayo and all the country’s squares, when it will be 46 years since the last civic-military coup d’état.

The Government of Buenos Aires will hold an artistic festival of dance, poetry and live bands on March 23 from 6:00 p.m. in the Plaza Seca of the Teatro Argentino de La Plata.

The session was convened for Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with an agenda that includes tributes to the victims of the last dictatorship, as well as “ratify the commitment of the Unicameral for the fight for Memory, Truth and Justice,” it was highlighted in a statement .

In Río Negro, the provincial government will commemorate the National Day for Memory, Truth and Justice with an agenda that includes the presentation of a book, graphic and artistic samples, conversations and talks.

The schedule in that province will begin this Monday afternoon in Viedma, where a book will be presented in tribute to the leader of the Permanent Assembly for Human Rights (Apdh) of Río Negro Noemí Labrune, with the participation of Labrune herself along with the jurist Víctor Abramovich, the dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Comahue Beatriz Gentile and the UN expert on foreign debt and human rights Juan Pablo Bohoslavsky.

The presentations will be linked to the events and political, social, cultural, subjective and economic consequences of the last dictatorship.
