Santa Cruz de la Sierra has a larval infestation rate of 29%which means that 29 out of every 100 dwellings havein mosquito larvae Aedes aegyptitransmitter of dengue, zika and chikungunya, according to the results of the entomological survey, released yesterday, Monday.

1,510 homes were visited and of these 719 had mosquito larvae breeding sites, according to the study.
