Bolivia registers a slight increase in Covid infections and borders on 900 thousand accumulated cases

This Monday, Bolivia again registered a slight increase in infections by Covid, according to the Ministry report of Health and Sports, which reports that of 5,234 nasal antigen tests, 212 gave positive results, more than yesterday, when there were only 90 cases. The largest amount of the new infections are in Santa Cruz, which reported 111, It is followed by Cochabamba with 69, La Paz with 11, Chuquisaca with 10, Tarija with seven, Potosí with two, Oruro and Beni with one. Pando did not register infected.

The National Directorate of Epidemiology did not regret deaths from complications of the virus and the total number of deaths remains at 21,483. Thus, the lethality in this fourth wave continues at 0.7%, less than in the third (2.5%), second (2.7%) and first (6.2%).
