The National Human Rights Institution (Inddhh) will resume the search with georadar, of disappeared detainees during the dictatorship. It will be in five buildings located in the Material and Armament Service (SMA) of the Army and in the former battalion 13where the Army Transportation Service currently operates.
Tasks will be handled by Argentine Forensic Anthropology Teamin conjunction with the Inddhh Forensic Anthropology Research Groupreported the institution in a statement.
The objective is study the subsoil of four magazines where ammunition and explosives are kept, and a box. The magazines are structures with a relatively small area, surrounded by shoulders that provide protection in the event of an explosion.

The Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a remote sensing technology that allows scans of the subsoil from the surface, no need to remove materialit was informed.
It will be possible to determine the physical properties of the subsoil and even if there have been, or not, alterations.
In 2016, georadar explorations were carried out in various structures of the SMA: in Shed 7, Shed 8 and pallet field, Armored Workshop and Esplanade for vehicles. The result on that occasion was that no “significant anomalies, compatible with those produced by burial structures” were found.
